Born in Colorado to Mexican and Guatemalan parents, I moved to New York for school in 2021. There I had the incredible privilege to study under Bruce Barth, Helen Sung, Christine Correa and Gabriel Guerrero. With a range of playing experience, I’ve met many musicians and played in many styles including combo jazz, solo jazz (solo piano, voice piano) salsa, samba, and bolero. I deeply value learning from mentors and especially value honest criticism.
